As both a teacher and someone who learned English as a second language, I understand that the journey can sometimes be challenging and even a bit overwhelming. That’s why I take the time to get to know my students—their interests, learning styles, and what truly excites them. By doing this, I can adapt our lessons to make the learning process as smooth and enjoyable as possible.
I firmly believe that learning a new language should be fun! I love using my students' interests as a foundation for our lessons, making the material not only relevant but also engaging. In my classes, I love blending my students' interests with the subject we're studying, making learning both fun and interactive. I often incorporate ice breakers, games, flashcards, and trivia into my lessons to keep things engaging and lively.
For me, the learning process is all about discovery—there's no such thing as mistakes, only opportunities to learn and grow. I also believe that less is more, especially when you're building your vocabulary. By keeping things simple, fun, and interactive, I help my students stay focused and enjoy their journey to mastering the language.My teaching material

Gisele proves herself to be a truly outstanding Portuguese instructor with each passing class. I'm amazed at how quickly our hour-and-a-half-long lessons fly by - a testament to how fun and engaging she makes our meetings. This particular lesson touched on a wide variety of topics, from famous sites around Brazil to the peculiarities of Portuguese grammar to the benefits and drawbacks of technological advancement. All the while, Gisele was extraordinarily patient with me as I struggled through complex sentences and corrected my (many) errors with grace. I am so lucky to count myself among her students!
