Hi! I am from Cape Town, South Africa, and I have always loved the English Language. I enjoy reading, learning about new cultures and getting to know lots of different people! I have moved around a lot in South Africa, and this means that I have experienced many different things. I now live in the small coastal town of Plettenberg Bay, with my husband and 5 dogs.
In my spare time, I love finding things to do in the countryside, or sitting down with a great book. Because I am outgoing and love to connect with different types of people, lessons are always interesting and fun!

The best way to learn English is to focus on speaking and listening. These two areas are so important when wanting to communicate clearly (effectively and efficiently)! Pronunciation is learned by listening and practicing - by having discussions based on your interests, your pronunciation and fluency will improve!
As a qualified English teacher, let's work together to improve the areas of English that you find challenging. Whether you want more confidence in Business meetings, if you would like to improve your grammar, or if you just want to become more fluent when speaking in general, basing lessons on your interests means that you are more motivated and excited to learn!My lessons & teaching style

If you want to talk about different topics related to your work, hobbies or interests, then this is what I would include in our plans. Working together, we can build a meaningful relationship and create a safe environment for you to learn to your full potential.

Lodge managerI run a successful four star guest lodge, where my duties range from dealing with different types of guests and their requests, basic bookkeeping and accounting, staff management, day to day lodge duties, check in and out of guests, reservations, guest and staff disputes, etc. This experience not only gives me insight in how to manage people and personalities in different situations, but it also allows me to teach English specific to the Tourism industry.
