Hello everyone!
I am Ibrahim. I have been an EFL teacher and a TOEFL and IELTS trainer for more than 30 years . I helped a lot of learners achieve their goals and pass these tests with good scores.
I have a BA in English from Alexandria University, Faculty of Education. I have two Diplomas; TQM and Educational Administration. I also studied Simultaneous Translation at the American University in Cairo. Owing to my proficiency in English, I passed the required tests; CEPA, TOEFL and IELTS and travelled to study in CSULA and UCSC in America and UEA in England.
Me as a Teacher
I feel proud as I help my students acquire English, I use a lot of teaching aids. I apply different strategies to meet the different learning styles. I break things down to make learning durable and easy to recall. I create life-like situations. Besides teaching, I am a Test developer
• Teacher and supervisor trainer in ( TOEFL, IELTS, Using Technology in Teaching & Supervisory Skills, as I am a certified trainer.
• Facilitator in the Video Conference sites, to help novice EFL teachers understand training programs presented by the American University in Cairo.
• English senior supervisor
• Preparatory school teacher in KSA 1990 - 1994
• Secondary teacher, 1984
My lessons & teaching style
I apply the communicative approach in teaching languages. I always develop a rapport with my learners. I connect current lessons to the learners' prior Knowledge to build on. I encourage and motivate my students to talk freely without fear of committing errors. They'll enjoy learning as well as I enjoy teaching, taking into consideration the different learning styles and the theory of multiple intelligences. I am an experienced teacher as I address the learners' minds, knowing what they like and dislike, what they are good /poor at, and the objectives they want to achieve. I make the language practice in our lessons as close to the real world situations as possible.

1 Arabic (Modern Standard) lesson
I just had a lesson with Ibrahim, first and foremost, I believe he loves for his students to learn Arabic. We had a nice chat at the end of the lesson. He has materials that are very suitable for beginner level students. That said, I think in the future, he should gauge his students needs and wants more thoroughly so he can give them the best lesson that he can. In addition, he may benefit from adding a number of different learning techniques to his program. I wish him well in his teaching career.
