I am a native Chinese speaker. My major is English and I have been teaching English and Mandarin Chinese in a public high school for thirty years. I am interested in language teaching very much, especially teaching foreigners Chinese. My Chinese is standard .Me as a Teacher
As a teacher, I am patient and supportive. As always, I am prompt .My lessons & teaching style
I have plenty of time for students to choose from. What my students need is my first priority. I normally use the default platform, italki classroom, where I can share my computer desktop with you. I enjoy the instructor speaking Chinese and asking what sentences or phrases mean, then working in reverse asking me how I would say the sentences or phrases in Chinese. Now that I’m learning to draw the characters I enjoy that as well. I feel like I’m getting better at reading and speaking in Chinese. Thanks for your patient instructing.
