Shoko Toda

Shoko-Sensei’s classes are always so good! She provides the same questions at the beginning of each class so I can get into the practice of how to answer. The topics she comes up with are very useful and enjoyable. I highly recommend her, especially if you’re new to Japanese

I’ve had a few lessons and I already feel confident and motivated. Shoko 先生 always takes the time to make sure I understand everything and answers my questions thoroughly. The homework and flash cards she provides have allowed me to remember the lesson and apply the knowledge I’ve accumulated. I appreciate you, Shoko 先生, for your efforts!

ありがとうございました！Another great lesson with しょこ先生。This week Shoko taught me more kanji, we did a JLPT N5 kanji review, reviewed the より、のほうが comparisons and learnt how to conjugate adjectives into the くて、で forms! また来週ね！

I’ve been having lessons for a while and I feel so much more confidence in learning each time. Shoko 先生 always does her best to encourage and explain things in a way that I can understand. Classes fly by because she makes them so enjoyable. Learning a language can be fun, but also challenging! Shoko 先生　is the perfect example of a teacher that can truly help her students learn at their own pace while also introducing new topics seamlessly. She often discusses topics that are relevant to me which allows me to learn how to discuss topics that I’m interested in . I believe she has been an immense help in my journey to learning Japanese.
