I appreciate the friendly environment and the genuine helpfulness offered. There’s like a 100+ tutors on here, but not all of them are willing to make a personal connection with you — and there’s a couple who do but the lessons themselves aren’t the best. I find both here. Tiên’s been helping me on my studies for 6-8 months now and has seen me make some moderate improvements. I’d like to say much of this is thanks to her support and patience. I’m confident that, whether you need some structure or if you just wanna wing it, she will adapt to your style of study and make it an exceptional opportunity to grow your language skills.

Tiên's lessons are methodological and follow a curriculum. She uses powerpoint presentation, images, textbooks which makes learning very interactive. She also has a very hear for tones and she will correct you until you get it right. You can't go wrong, especially for beginners.

With her informal Vietnamese Conversation Practice classes, Tiên has helped me to practice basic conversation and continue improving my intermediate leve of Vietnamese vocabulary. She not only corrects and helps me to imporve my pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar, but also teaches informal language, sayings and idioms. Given her excellent level of English, I highly recommend her conversation classes for those who have already achieved a basic level of Vietnamese.

Tiên is a talented teacher who always smiles, and it’s clear she enjoys teaching. She makes learning very easy. If I struggle to express something, she explains it in Vietnamese—or English if needed—in a simpler way. This helps grammar patterns become clear. She excels at teaching practical and useful words and expressions. You can choose a topic, or she can suggest one. Learning with her is enjoyable, conversational, and never awkward—unlike with some teachers. There’s no pressure to perform or prepare for class. I highly recommend her to anyone wanting to learn Vietnamese. Her English is fluent, and her ability to introduce new ideas and patiently address my weak points is outstanding. She even provides a document for me to review after each class. I’ve been learning with her for a year now, and I’d definitely recommend her.
