Hello, everyone! This is JJ!
- I’m a native Korean speaking the standard language.
- I have a degree in Korean language and literature.
- I’m a certified Korean teacher. I have a teacher’s certificate from Ministry of Education of Korea.
- I’m a cheerful person and I'll make you feel relaxed and confident in our lessons.

- I love to help my students learn Korean and I find a teaching job very rewarding.
I see many students feel embarrassed when they make mistakes. You might use broken grammar and vocabulary while learning, but that's very normal. Even though you make some mistakes, trying to saying what you want to express definitely helps to improve your Korean skills. As for me, I’m now learning Spanish and still trying to improve my English. So I totally understand how difficult learning a new language can be. But I also think learning a new language is one of the most wonderful hobbies!My lessons & teaching style

But no matter what your level is, I can help you to progress your Korean skills in reading, listening, speaking, writing.

JJ is an amazing teacher! I’ve been taking lessons with her for well over a year now. Her lessons are well structured and she does a great job making sure that I am always making progress from lesson to lesson, while always reiterating on things from previous lessons very naturally. Aside from excellent lesson content, she’s also just a very good natured person to practice chatting with comfortably in Korean, as she creates a great atmosphere where I’m not ashamed to make mistakes when conversing. Overall I highly recommend her as a teacher.
