My background as a retired programmer and public speaking coach means I focus on **practical, real-world English**βwhether for IELTS, interviews, or presentations.
With a Masterβs in IT and British Council-trained IELTS teaching, Iβve guided hundreds of students to succeed in moving abroad or advancing careers. My gentle, patient style makes complex skills feel simple.

My teaching style is patient and kind. I use my varied experience as a software engineer, charity worker and public speaking group leader, along with extensive training in IELTS, a CERT EDI TEFL level 5 certificate, and a native British accent not related to any particular region of Britain to create great learning experiences for my students. I focus on practical skills.
