Gisele's teaching was great! The lesson was at a fast pace ensuring immersion into mandarin, and she explains everything you do not understand very clearly. I was provided with a document at the end of the lesson detailing our discussion for me to revise with! I highly recommend, thank you Gisele :)

I absolutely enjoy my lessons with Gisele. I learn something new everyday. She assessed my level and chose the materials accordingly. She is such a passionate, devoted, responsible, and caring teacher. We worked on new vocabulary, grammatical points, cultural concepts, and even tackled some reading. All in one session. Can’t ask for more!

I feel incredibly lucky to be able to study with Gisele. She is deeply engaged and clearly passionate about what she does. She constantly challenges me beyond my current level, but she does it in a way that feels safe, encouraging, and actually fun. Because of her, I’m learning so much more than I expected - and enjoying it every step of the way. She’s not only smart and insightful, but also has a strong personality that makes each lesson dynamic and focused. At the same time, her sense of humor brings warmth and balance, so I always look forward to class. It’s rare to find someone who can push you this hard and still make you feel confident - but Gisele does exactly that. I’m genuinely grateful 😊

Gisele is very well prepared, her materials are tailored to suit my ability, and she is engaging throughout the lesson. Gisele is also very attentive to my problem areas so that I can learn and improve on my weak points. Overall I feel very pleased with the lesson and with Gisele as an instructor. 👍👍👍

There was a signal problem with italki but eventually we got online with Zoom which was smooth. Went very well, my son enjoyed Zeyi’s lesson! She is clear and patient, she pronounces well, and I was very impressed with her quick reactions in posting up characters in Chinese and providing an English translation. She is also comfortable with both simplified and traditional Chinese

What an engaged, supportive, and ambitious teacher! Lessons with Gisele are delightfully intensive - you learn a lot, but at the same time, you don’t feel overwhelmed. Working with Gisele, I learn a lot during the lessons and feel full of energy afterwards 🌷 :)
