My name is Marika.
I'm from Kochi prefecture and now living in Oita.
I lived in Australia and Korea for a year each.
I love studying foreign languages and traveling.

I am qualified and have shared the joy of learning Japanese with many students.
I have used GENKI basically for beginner students, and for intermediate and advanced students, the lessons have focused on conversation.
I use Google Docs to correct mistakes accurately in real time.
I offer lessons for various levels and goals, from beginners to advanced. My aim is to help you to improve your Japanese

フリートーク、GENKIの教科書を使っての文法、発音矯正、コナンを見ながらと様々な方法からあなたに会った方法で一緒に勉強しましょう。
授業は基本的に日本語で行いますが英語でサポートも出来ます。
We can study together in a variety of ways to suit your needs, such as free talk, grammar using GENKI textbooks, pronunciation correction, or watching Conan.
Classes are basically conducted in Japanese, but English support is also available.

This was my first lesson with Marika sensei. Marika sensei was very polite and very accommodating. I can imagine it is quite difficult to meet someone and within a few minutes be able to start a productive lesson, but Marika sensei was amazing and our lesson was very productive. Marika sensei's pronunciation and intonation was crystal clear, which is very helpful when doing this type of practice. I am looking forward to having more lessons with Marika sensei. 今日は本当にありがとうございました。また次のレッスンに会いましょう。

Marika-sensei was great! I took a very specific lesson with her, in order to know more about the Kouchi Prefecture dialect (Tosa-ben). We went through a lot of sentences I had questions about and she explained all of them very carefully, making sure I understood the Standard Japanese equivalents and using examples where needed. ほんで、ざんじに完璧やいけんど、ちったぁ分かっちゅうつもりやぞ！ Thank you very much!
