I am deeply grateful to Riwa for her effort to prepare for the lesson. I found the material she sent me to study and appraise beforehand instructive and illuminating. She raised astute questions and challenged me to try my hand at creative writing. I think that this is an excellent approach to take for proficient users of the language, even native users because it is difficult to write creatively. One not only has to construct the characters and the plot but also consider what themes he wishes to present while ensuring that he writes clearly and fluently about concrete situations instead of mere nebulous and vague abstractions. Less proficient users, too, would be served well by their participation in such exercises. Riwa is an academic with a flair for writing that few teachers on this platform can match. She was interactive, attentive and empathetic during our discussion. She never puts on any airs and never condescends, unlike others. I highly recommend her.

Highly recommend lessons with Riwa. She is a very professional teacher with a flexible and personalized approach. You'll never be bored on the lessons as Riwa offers you something new every time . Aside that, being a professional writer she gives additional training in writing which not only provokes a lot of reflection but even has some psychotherapeutic effect)

Riwa is the best teacher I've had on Italk. I learnt about her on itaki's podcast, I've studied with a few teachers before but I wasn't really satisfied with any of them, but Riwa is really very good teacher! She is very professional and kind and makes me relaxed in learning English. Even if my English is very poor, she encourages me to speak, patiently points out my mistakes and also explains to me in detail why. Thank you, Mrs Riwa.
