Hello there! My name is Arzu, and I graduated from the communication faculty with a passion for journalism. I believe journalism is a profound way to understand and express diverse cultures and mindsets worldwide. To fully grasp and communicate feelings, cultures, and perspectives, learning languages is essential. Language is the key that unlocks worlds of literature and perspectives. Personally, I hold keys in five different sizes. In English and French, my keys are large, granting me access to the realms of contemporary writers. In Russian and Greek, my keys are still in the carving stage. If you’re interested in acquiring a key to the Turkic world and Anatolia, let’s carve our keys togeth

Me as a Teacher
My teaching journey began during my university years when I volunteered to teach basic math at Compagnons of Refugee Children (CRC) for one year. Following that project, I continued to engage with students through Zoom sessions, where we focused on practicing Turkish language skills. Currently, I teach Turkish to both adults and children. While my courses primarily emphasize improving speaking proficiency, we also integrate grammar and reading exercises to ensure a well-rounded learning experience.
My lessons & teaching style
For adults learning Turkish, I tailor lessons according to their objectives. At A1/A2 levels, we concentrate on grammar and workbook exercises using our course book "İstanbul." We engage with Turkish stories for beginners and texts from "Lingua Turkish." At B1/B2 levels, we discuss news articles, explore proverbs, idioms, and practice real-life scenarios such as buying tickets and ordering in cafes. .Teaching Turkish to children involves different strategies. We focus on reading skills using Turkish stories and "Lingua Turkish," followed by grammar and vocabulary exercises for literate children. Additionally, we use computer games and watch cartoon to enhance their listening skills.

She does not know how to teach properly. She even does not know that how to provide materials to the student. When i asked to provide note, she will send me a blurred screen shot. Do not waste time with her. She is quite improfessional and not helpful at all.
