I have been taking Spanish lessons with Andrea for just over six months. When we started, I had very little background in Spanish. I had never taken any formal classes. My intent was to understand and speak well enough to be of some value in my professional life and to open up opportunities for travel. As an engineer, Andrea has an excellent understanding of a professional environment. We have worked on vocabulary and scenarios that were immediately beneficial to me in my work. As a teacher, fluent in both English and French, Andrea understands the challenges of learning additional languages. She patiently uses this understanding to point out why I make various mistakes and correct these without interrupting the flow of conversation. I have used italki for several years working on languages other than Spanish, and I have had lessons with more than 20 different teachers. Andrea is certainly amongst the very best.
