Hello! my name is Ashley. I live in Emalahleni, which is a small town situated in Mpumalanga South Africa. I have studied a Bachelor of technology degree in Electrical engineering at the Tshwane University of Technology. In my spare time, I love cooking, watching movies and walking in parks. I enjoy being an English tutor as it gives me an opportunity to meet amazing people. I love meeting new people, learning different cultures and backgrounds.Me as a Teacher
As a tutor, my focus is to help break down difficult concepts in a way that allows students greater comprehension and understanding to their course material. I have also been volunteering at a local day care/after care as an English teacher. My students where children between the ages of 6-17. My tasks included helping my students with home works and many more activities. I look forward to joining this platform.My lessons & teaching style
As a community tutor, I will be providing casual conversation practice to help my students with their pronunciation and fluency. Speaking is the most important course in learning and acquiring a language. My lessons will also include, grammar corrections, vocabulary suggestions, sentence constructions and practice reading. Speaking English can cause a greater anxiety for students, my lessons will also include helping my students develop confidence and overcome the fear of speaking English in their context or publicly. I will also be providing job interview preparations.My teaching material
