Kyoka

Kyoka is wonderful at making each lesson unique and fun by constantly bringing in new materials to use in class. I have not had a single repetitive class with her. I highly recommend her if you want to learn Japanese

Kyoka Sensei lessons are always incredibly enjoyable. She is easy to talk, helpful, patient, and encouraging. The new grammar we cover is well explained with many examples. Her English proficiency is high , so if I don't understand the material she can assist me .

This is my 4th lesson with Kyoka-san, and I can feel my Japanese improving. More than other teachers I've booked on this site, Kyoka knows how to speak to someone based on their level while still challenging them. Sometimes with other teachers, it's hard to stay in Japanese for the full hour, but with Kyoka-san, I'm able to express myself in Japanese for the full hour. She also incorporates grammar review in her lessons, which is extremely helpful.

きょうかさんの授業はいつも楽しくて面白いです。授業はフリー・トークなので、いろいろなトピックについて話しました。きょうかさんと話しやすいので、授業で何でも話せます。

Kyoka san is wonderful at making each lesson an unique experience. Some lessons she has me learn through trial and error while having a conversation, and other lessons she has a lesson plan set up to where we go over certain concepts of the Japanese language. This makes it to where every lesson is new and fun

Kyoka-san was great as always! My Japanese is far from perfect, but she is great at understanding what I mean and is able to show me the correct phrasing while reinforcing grammar points. This is only my third lesson with her, but I feel like I am able to reinforce my Japanese more and more with each lesson.
