Hi everyone! My name is Steffi and I'm from South Germany. Almost five years ago I left my hometown in Germany with my backpack for a new adventure. I opened my own Hostel and Vegan/Veggie Restaurant right on the beach on the beautiful island of Sri Lanka. I love travelling and getting to know different cultures. In my free time I enjoy long walks with my dogs on the beach, Yoga, creating my new clothing label and hanging out with my loved ones.

Me as a Teacher

My native language is German, I am also fluent in English. At the moment I´m learning Sinhala and I know what it means to learn a new language and how hard it can be sometimes - additional to your lesson. So don't be afraid, I am a very fun, friendly and patient community tutor :)!

My lessons & teaching style

I will focus mainly on practice: conversations, improving pronunciation, expanding vocabulary, reading different texts and discussing them. I can't wait to get started with you as my student! I had a wonderful trial lesson with Steffie. I was very shy to speak but she was very kind and helpful so I managed to ease up a bit 😄. I really enjoyed our time. Also she speaks beautiful German so don’t worry about not understanding her. Thank you 🙏 very much!
