The lesson was very nice. We had a conversation about Côte d’Ivoire and specifically about Abidjan. He gave me a lot of insights I’ll use on my upcoming trip to Africa.

Yacouba is a friendly person and easy to talk to. His English is very good, and since I am an English speaker that is very helpful. I chose him because of his Fulani language skills.

I greatly appreciated my first lesson with Yacouba. Why I think everyone should take some lessons with Yacouba: he helped me practice using vous. Most teachers will start with tu, and so you never practice this huge chunk of the French language. With Yacouba, it felt very natural to use vous. He was friendly as I worked my way through and I felt comfortable. Looking forward to future lessons.
