Hello everyone! My name is Sascha. I'm an experienced and certified TEFL tutor. I'm a native speaker who was born and raised in Germany. I'm from a city called Essen which is in the western part of Germany.
I was always interested in different languages and cultures. Back in my school days I learned English and French. Once I got older I started traveling every now and then. I worked and lived in Australia for a year and traveled across various countries in South East Asia.
For almost 4 years now I've been living in Indonesia (Bali) and learning their language as well.
I'm a full time teacher who puts a lot of passion and effort in every day to help you reach your goals.Me as a Teacher
With over 4500 lessons already taught online before joining italki, teaching became a real passion for me. I love to help other people and enjoy seeing the progress my students make.
With me you will get a reliable and patient teacher who always tries to get the most out of you.
The focus is always to listen and speak as much German as possible.
I have a variety of materials for every situation. These include many different textbook, audio materials, websites and self made PowerPoints for conversational classes or explaining grammar.
I can also help you prepare for a language certificate like Goethe or TELC. I've already helped a lot of people successfully passing these exams.My lessons & teaching style
Every student is different. That's why every lesson is individually made for you.
My lessons are well prepared and structured. With the variety of materials I have, I can pick the best ones for you.
The most important thing is to speak as much as possible but I also make sure that you always learn all of the 4 skills (reading, listening, speaking and writing).
My lessons are for:
- beginners (learn German from scratch)
- advanced (become more fluent and expand your vocabulary)
- everyone who want to pass a language certificated (Goethe or TELC from A1-B2)
or for everyone who just wants to practise speaking. I use self made materials or share articles we can talk about.My teaching material
