My name is Pius Ntinya, i'm a professional teacher from Tanzania. I have been a teacher for more than fifteen years in schools teaching English, Swahili and French in primary, secondary and high schools. I also have three years experience in online teaching. I can speak Swahili, English and French. I have worked as Education Coordinator in Burundian refugee camp called Nyarugusu found in Kigoma region in Tanzania. I'm a professional translator & interpreter. i'm trained on Early Childhood Care & Development(ECCD). i'm also an author of academic & language e-books especially that of Swahili. I'm also an environmental expert as a have a Master of Science in Climate Change.Me as a Teacher
I'm experienced tutor, i have taught in schools for more than fifteen years and online for three years. I'am also highly skilled in language teaching approaches, techniques, strategies and methods. I have also undergone a special course for teaching non native speakers of Swahili language. I know how to encourage and motivate learners. I can speak Swahili, English & French.My lessons & teaching style
I teach all kinds of learners from beginners, intermediate and advanced level. I also teach Swahili for those who want to learn for traveling or vacation. I always ask learners to explain what outcome they would need to attain, so I use simple notes, audios, short stories, simple grammar, audio visuals, you tube etc. I help learners practice speaking the targeted language. I categorize my teaching into grammar, vocabulary, language use & conversation.My teaching material
