My name is Ken and I'm Chinese. I'm eager to help you improve your Chinese and understanding of Chinese culture, via Italki.
I have a degree in Chinese language and literature. I have a keen interest in classical Chinese culture, especially pre-Qin culture. I also like Tang poetry, Song Ci, Yuan Qu and novels from the Ming and Qing dynasties very much. If you like Chinese culture as much as I do, I'm sure we'll find many topics of common interest to have a conversation about. Chinese is a very attractive language, it has a good rhythm, beautiful handwriting, what's more, there is a story behind every Chinese character. The evolution of Chinese characters is the history of China. Therefore, if you want to learn Chinese fully, you must understand The history and culture of China.
My Mandarin level is grade 1 b. This level is second only to that of a professional broadcaster . So if you want to practice pronunciation and dialogue training, I would be your best candidate.My lessons & teaching style
