Juan Camilo

Juan is a great teacher! I have been learning Spanish now for about 4 years off and on. Juan is fantastic. Any questions I have about subjunctive: he has an answer. If I want to just chat and relax: he is awesome to talk to. If I want a quick translation of a word in english because I am lazy: He has the translation. An awesome teacher that is one of the better teachers I have ever had in my 4 year journey of espanol.

I had a great lesson with him today. He leaves you feeling very confident with your speaking abilities because he allows you to speak however you want and lets the conversation flow naturally. Now I have the ability to express whatever I want to say and it's all thanks to Juan. He always leaves feedback at the end and even generates a vocabulary list of the words we learned that day on a Microsoft word document that he sends to me. Additionally, if you are having problems with certain tenses in Spanish, he will devote the lecture to making sure you understand the proper usage of that tense. In my case I always struggled with the subjunctive, so I asked him to help me and he prepared a powerpoint for me that we worked on until I understood it. I cannot recommend Juan enough. I have used my fair share of tutors and I have yet to come across anyjuan (anyone) better than Juan.

Acabo de tomar mi primera clase con Juan, y tengo que decir que es un profesor increíble. Estaba muy bien preparado y su paciencia es admirable. Explica todo de manera muy clara y se asegura de que realmente entiendas cada concepto. Lo que más me gustó es cómo adapta la clase a mis necesidades específicas, lo que me hace sentir que estoy avanzando de verdad. Estoy muy impresionada y con muchas ganas de continuar aprendiendo con él. ¡Lo recomiendo sin dudarlo!
