My name is Fareeda and I am a 22 year old living in South Africa. My hobbies are reading, cooking and taking nice photos. I have done a 120-Hour TESOL certificate and I am a former field researcher in the field of Linguistics - that means that I have done in-depth studies in the English language. I speak 2 languages which is English and Afrikaans with Afrikaans being my Home language.
Inappropriate behavior from students will not be tolerated. This is a language learning platform and I will not tolerate students who are disrespectful towards me as the teacher and the platform.Me as a Teacher
I am a compassionate Teacher and will do my best to make students feel more comfortable with a unfamiliar language. As I am a language enthusiast I will make sure I learn from my students and learn with them as well. Learning will be fun and informative at the same time.My lessons & teaching style
The lessons and teaching style which I use is mainly conversational that means I will have conversations with my students. I am kind and patient with students and I will understand if they find a new language challenging to learn but that is why I am there as a Teacher to overcome language obstacles.My teaching material

It was first lesson with Fareeda but it was best lesson in Italki I had. She was explained me what i need to work on, which was very simple i missed that all time. I recommend her to all who wanted learn English!

Fareeda is very nice, friendly and easy to approach. She definitely is a very responsible teacher and makes careful preparations for her classes. What impressed me most was that she didn’t rush the class and let it to end naturally. We had so pleasant a session. I felt spontaneously pretty close to her. I’ll for sure take more of her classes and highly recommend her to you.

I am taking Afrikaans lessons with Fareeda and I had to check all of the markers because her lessons was well put together and her materials were arranged in a perfect order for beginners. Not only do you hear the words repeatedly but she test your memory by making you practice them shortly after hearing them several times. I highly recommend her if you are an English speaker who wants to learn Afrikaans!
