Hello! Hola! Здравствуйте!
My name is Yana, I'm from Russia, I was born and raised in Moscow. Currently I live in Georgia (a country in the Caucasus region).
My native language is Russian, I also speak English, Spanish and Georgian.
In Moscow I graduated from the Lomonosov Moscow State University with a specialization in "Methodology of Teaching Russian as a Foreign Language".
Learning languages is my passion, that's why I also started to learn Mandarin Chinese so that I never forget the difficulties my students face.
I have been teaching Russian online for more than 5 years. My other work experience includes working in hospitality, sales and wine company in Georgia.Me as a Teacher
Besides learning languages, teaching is my other passion.
What I love about teaching is seeing the progress my students make, this is the best reward for me.
I love everything about teaching: being attentive, being patient, explaining and answering questions, seeing my students overcome themselves and achieve their goals.My lessons & teaching style
My method of teaching Russian is communicative, it's essence lies in learning the language according to communicative needs, because after all the goal of learning languages is to be able to interact with people from other cultures.
My classes are always focused on your needs: whether you are learning the language for traveling, or you come from a bilingual family and want to speak Russian at a better level, or you are an expatriate in Russia and need Russian for work, etc. I also take into account the interests of my students by discussing different topics and giving interesting homework.
