As a teacher, I believe the most important thing for a student is to feel comfortable while learning. I try my best to make students feel engaged, and motivated to practice and learn while they do most of the talking, even if they're just starting out.My lessons & teaching style
tMy lessons are mainly conversational, but I make sure that every lesson, each student gets to learn and practice something new, whether it is vocabulary, common expressions or grammar structures. We can talk about any topic you like, or focus on some specific part of the language, either way after some lessons you will see improvement in your ability to understand and speak the language.

I really enjoy working with Hector. He does an excellent job speaking Spanish at a level I can understand, while also challenging me with slightly more advanced language. Hector always provides sentences for us to work on together, which I really appreciate. It helps me practice and think in Spanish more naturally. The practice sentences and questions often lead to fun and interesting conversations in Spanish. I would highly recommend Hector to anyone looking for a Spanish teacher.
