Me llamo Jhoana, soy de nacionalidad colombiana pero hace veinte años vivo en Italia, me gusta vivir en este paìs pero no me olvido de mi cultura y mis tradiciones. Me encanta la cocina colombiana y he aprendido muchos platos diferentes. Mi lengua materna es el español, trabajo como interprete y traductora, también doy clases particlulares de español. En mi tiempo libre me gusta hacer deporte al aire libre y también en el gym, otro de mis pasatiempos es viajar, me encanta conocer lugares nuevos y también otras culturas.Me as a Teacher
Mis clases de conversaciòn van desde un nivel A1 (principiantes) hasta el C2 (avanzado), en las lecciones podemos enfocarnos en argumentos particulares, por ejemplo si el alumno necesita saber el español para los negocios por cuestiones de trabajo, si son chicos que estudian en el colegio o en la universidad y cuando necesitan hacer pruebas de idoneidad lingüística. También hago lecciones para niños cuando por ejemplo los padres desean que aprenda el idioma con actividades lùdicas, trato de hacer lecciones adaptas para ellos.My lessons & teaching style
Dado que es una clase de conversaciòn lo que hago para comenzar es escoger junto al alumno un tema, comenzamos a hablar utilizando el vocabulario necesario y los tiempos verbales adecuados dependiendo del nivel del alumno, asi podemos practicar la gramàtica casi sin darnos cuenta, todo fluye con màs facilidad. Una parte que para mì es importante de las clases es la parte de la cultura hispanoamericana, en los paises de habla hispana hay culturas diferentes y creo que puede ser interesante.My teaching material

Jhoana always gives me interesting homework. The lessons always start with a small conversation. Then I read the text of my homework to her, and we talk about it. I really like working on my Spanish with her!

Jhoana has given me some very interesting puzzles as homework. Texts about interesting subjects, which we can discuss. She is very patient with me. I try to learn Spanish, but am switching to Italian all the time. I have had many more lessons in Italian, so that was to be expected. It is not a big problem. In the mean time I am learning a lot in the lessons. The enthusiastic way she keeps the discussion going, is really great!
