Hera 최해라

Hera in an excellent teacher. As a language lover, a fellow teacher, and an aspiring teacher trainer, I absolutely recommed Hera. She has helped me progress a lot and gain confidence in my language skills. One of the many aspects I love about her lessons is that she helps me find the answers to my questions by encouraging me to analyze the words and the structures I have doubts about. As a result, this has led me to become a more confident and autonomous learner. It is easy to tell right from the start how much dedication she puts into her lessons and how much importance she gives to catering to her students' individual needs. Additionally, she's very patient and encouraging, two characteristics that, along with the previously mentioned aspects, create the perfect recipe for a great learning experience. Once again, I highly recommend her, as she's an amazing teacher.

I'd highly recommend studying Korean with Hera! I tried self-studying Korean on and off for a couple of years, but I was never able to get very far on my own. Hera is patient and encouraging, and I've learned a lot about Korean culture, grammar usage, and phrasing from how she has structured the curriculum. I look forward to our lessons each week and feel motivated to continue learning. 해라 씨 정말 감사합니다! 한국 여행 가기 전에 선생님하고 한국어 수업을 시작했어요. 사람하고 대화할 수 있었어요! 요즘 계속 배우고 있어요.

I had another great lesson with Hera today. She is an excellent teacher. She is a native Korean speaker, and her English skills are excellent. She explains Korean words and phrases clearly, gives great usage examples, builds on and reinforces what we’ve learned in previous lessons and corrects me when necessary. And she’s very patient and pleasant all the time. Truly an outstanding teacher!

Once again, I had a successful lesson. We reviewed material since it’s been about 5 months since I last took a lesson. I was surprised by how at ease I was with the review - that is in thanks to 해라 씨 nature of kindness and ability to teach in a very understandable way. 해라 씨 is a fantastic teacher. I go into each lesson feeling nervous but always leave the lesson thinking, “Why was I nervous?”. Even when I make mistakes or don’t understand, 해라 씨 makes me feel comfortable with her patience and corrections. Also, our impromptu dialogue at the beginning of each lesson feels very comfortable. I am glad I found her on italki.
