Hello everyone! My name is Jovana and I am from Serbia. I leave in Kragujevac. I am 25 years old and I am a PhD student. My passion is a linguistic and Italian language, but I can also say that teaching others is the best thing in my job. During the studies I had a possibilty to be in Italy every summer. So I can really say that it didn't help me just with learning Italian, but also with learning dialects and the most important thing of all is that those trips helped me to know better their culture. My hobbies are reading books, learning new languages, teaching other people and listening the music.

Me as a Teacher

I am very easygoing and relaxed. I possess extensive knowledge about being a student, so you don’t need to worry about any mistakes or the problems that may arise along the way. I will assist you in making this journey much smoother, and I’ll be available to answer any questions you might have. During my Master’s, I had the opportunity to teach Italian as a second language, which was an enriching experience. I have also taught students on various platforms. Additionally, I am studying German, so I can completely empathize with what you are going through

My lessons & teaching style

Every student has different needs, so I will prepare everything for the class. It will be interesting and exciting for you to learn. During our classes, I will include video and audio files that can help us achieve our goal. I can assist you in improving your conversation skills, expanding your vocabulary, and learning more about Italy and Italian culture. This is especially beneficial if you’re considering moving or traveling there. We can study Italian, ENglish or Serbian! I can't wait to see you! NON VEDO L'ORA DI VIDERVI :)

Con Jovana imparo l'inglese. Lei è un'insegnante davvero eccezionale! Dalla prima lezione sono stato benissimo. È molto simpatica e ti mette a proprio agio fin da subito. È bello riuscire a trovare degli insegnanti che diano un valore significativo alle lezioni, che capiscono le difficoltà nell'apprendere una lingua perché sanno quali sono gli step da fare e in che modo affrontarli, riuscendo a farti amare la lingua che desideri imparare. Sono entusiasta e non non appena finiamo la lezione non vedo l'ora che arrivi la prossima! Grazie davvero Jovana!

A lovely second encounter with Jovana- we are starting my Italian journey from the basics as I have forgotten so much! Jovana is patient, encouraging and able to share a wealth of knowledge, linguistic as well as cultural, about Italy and the Balkan region, two areas in which I have great interest.
