Hi, I'm Alejandra and I would like to help you improve the wonderful language of Spanish. I am a psychologist and in my free time I like to cook, study new subjects, dance a lot, travel and listen to music. My friends and family describe me as a patient and calm person. Hola, soy Alejandra y me gustaría ayudarte a mejorar el maravilloso idioma del español. Soy psicóloga y en mi tiempo libre me gusta cocinar, estudiar nuevas temas, bailar mucho, viajar y escuchar música. Mis amigos y familiares me describen como una persona paciente y tranquila.

Me as a Teacher

For the past 8 years I have been working in a public school in the Dominican Republic as a psychologist, attending and teaching children with learning and behavioral problems. I love helping people and I would like to use my knowledge to help you learn more about the Spanish language and have fun doing it. Durante los últimos 8 años he estado trabajando en una escuela pública en la República Dominicana como psicóloga, atendiendo y enseñando a niños con problemas de aprendizaje y de comportamiento. Me encanta ayudar a la gente y me gustaría utilizar mis conocimientos para ayudarte a aprender más sobre la lengua española y divertirte haciéndolo.

My lessons & teaching style

I specialize in teaching advanced students from b2 and upwards according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. I use a conversational teaching style, communicating only in spanish, based on listening and speaking, that presents vocabulary and grammar in a topic-based context. Estoy especializada en la enseñanza de alumnos avanzados a partir de b2 hacia arriba según el Marco Común Europeo de Referencia para las Lenguas. Utilizo un estilo de enseñanza conversacional, comunicándome sólo en español, basado en la escucha y la conversación, que presenta el vocabulario y la gramática en un contexto basado en temas.
