Hi, I'm Daria! I'm a multilingual teacher, translator and interpreter fluent in Romanian, Russian, English, Italian, with working knowledge of German and French. I have a degree in Philosophy, International, and Economic Studies from Ca' Foscari University of Venice. 🎓 I wrote my final dissertation on the ethics of organ transplant. I've worked on academic, business, and cultural projects, providing both translation and consecutive interpretation for international NGOs and other organizations. 🔗 I love travelling and I visited 13 countries in Europe and America. 🌍 Beside my academic interest in philosophy and passion for languages I am an artist and I love dedicating my time to painting.Me as a Teacher

✔️ I aim to create a supportive and engaging learning environment tailored to each student’s needs. My experience as a multilingual translator and interpreter has given me deep insight into the challenges of language learning, which helps me guide students effectively.
✔️ I focus on practical communication skills while also improving grammar, vocabulary, and cultural understanding. I am highly adaptable and I am open to teaching students of any age and language level. Don't worry to be spontaneous and ask questions during the class - we can switch the topic and lesson plan!My lessons & teaching style
The content of the lesson varies by the type of lesson you choose:
✔️ Conversation practice lessons focus largely on speaking and maintaining a natural flow of conversation in the language that you are learning. We can spontaneously choose different topics for discussion or talk about a text or article chosen in advance. Feel free to ask me to do job interview preparation.
✔️ Grammar, writing and vocabulary classes are more structured and are focused on a systematic approach to grammar rules and vocabulary lists. You can also tell me in advance if you would like us to focus on specific grammar topics of your choice. Or I will prepare something general for your level.My teaching material

Great first lessons. Dasha is patient and gives great corrections and improvements. I am able to practice Romanian speaking spontaneously and as carefully as I need. I am also able to practice my reading with interesting topics which help focus discussion practice.

One challenge with language learning is maintaining interest and finding interesting conversation topics. This is not a problem with Daria. A thought-provoking and compelling conversation helps to push you into full immersion when speaking and thinking in a foreign language.

Daria is welcoming and well prepared, with excellent materials. She puts focus on the material but also on speaking, patiently correcting when necessary. Intelligent beyond her years, she is relaxed, personable and will answer literally any question. I enjoy that I am learning perfect grammar but also how Romanians/Moldovans actually speak.
