Me as a Teacher
I started a podcast. Please listen to it!
Podcasts and videos let you know who I am.
In 2022, I took a 420-hour Japanese language teacher training course designated by the Agency for Cultural Affairs and obtained a Japanese language teacher qualification.
Also, I'm learning English with italki.
I can understand the feelings of learners, such as frustration when they can't think of a phrase, and joy when they can say it clearly.
I will be patient and encouraging during lessons and chats.
And I want to cherish the connection with people.
I want to make friends all over the world through Japanese!
If you like me, let's talk in a lesson! I'm looking forward to meeting you!

I have been taking lessons with Atsushi for quite some time now and found him to be extremely easy to talk to and try new grammar points and phrases. I really like that he often takes my sentence and words it for me-- which is SUPER helpful. Highly recommended! Awesome teacher!
Atsushiさん is one of the few really great teachers on this platform. I find all of the conversations incredibly engaging and entertaining. Moreover, I'm constantly cracking up because of Atsushiさん's awesome sense of humor. Most important however is that he's patient and a good teacher that speaks at a level that's comfortable for me yet, constantly teaches me new vocabulary and grammar. I appreciate all of the hard work he puts into transcribing all of the new concepts to review.

We dove into government and international affair terminology and concepts in today's lesson, and it was very interesting. Atsushi-san helped me grasp some ideas about Japan's government by introducing the terms and suggesting to read a news article. It was very useful.
