Hi! I’m Natasha, I’m from Russia. I was born in Ulyanovsk, then moved to Moscow, then left the country in March'22.
Learning a foreign language can be challenging sometimes but understand that the right approach can make the learning process thoroughly enjoyable!
I studied pedagogy, English, German and Methods of Teaching Russian as a Foreign Language at university and after I finished my studies I continued to learn languages. Being a teacher helps me to be a learner and being a learner myself definitely helps me to be a teacher.
I really love my native language and admire people who wish to go on this language learning journey!Me as a Teacher
Having studied pedagogy as well as linguistics for 5 years I understand that the personality of a teacher and the whole atmosphere during the lesson plays a big role in achieving success in the language learning process.
It’s important to be positive, patient and focused both for a teacher and for a student.My lessons & teaching style
I believe that the best results can be achieved through the integration of all aspects of language learning e.g. speaking, listening, reading, grammar, writing, vocabulary, into the learning process.
Even if your goal is to speak fluently it’s difficult to ignore the grammar or listening. You need to know how to build correct sentences and be able to understand the person you are speaking to.My teaching material

I could not hope for a smarter, kinder, funnier, gentler, friendlier, more beautiful and patient teacher than Natasha. If I live to be 120 years old I hope I will still be able to enjoy lessons with her. I'll probably still be trying to get the hang of genitive word cases as well!

I started learning Russian language from absolute zero with Natasha 1.5 years ago, and I'm so happy with the result. Now I can speak with the Russians easily, participate in Russian clubs and chat groups, take part as a translator/interpreter for an event. Even I can cook Russian food! (She's so good in promoting her culture). Simply because Natasha is a perfect teacher. She is very smart, patient, talkative and humorous. And she is always ready to go the extra mile. Although I always feel nervous in every lesson, but it's just the way she drives my subconsciousness to try and be better in each lesson. If only other teachers in Italki were like her, I'd be fluent in other languages too in no time. Спасибо большое Наташа! Оставайся счастливой и здоровой, у нас ещё больше уроков, пока я не стану русским)))

Natasha is a talented teacher. Learning Russian with her is an enjoyable, satisfying, and fulfilling process. I'm impressed with the amount of progress that I'm seeing month after month. I'm not afraid of making mistakes during our lessons because she knows how to build up my confidence while ensuring I learn from any errors. I'm sticking with her until I can speak Russian fluently!

Natasha does a fantastic job cultivating a robust understanding of grammar and does so in a very fluid, natural way. She uses an effective mix of repetition, conversation, and lecture to build up my fundamental skills. I've been learning with her for one year and I'm just as engaged with her lessons now as I was on day one. She's the best confidence booster for any student!
