¡Hola! I'm Eliana, from Argentina.
I have a degree in Translation, and I love learning about other people's cultures and languages.
When I'm not working, I like reading, cooking, sewing, doing yoga and walking my dog.
I'm a huge fan of drinking "mate" (a traditional Argentine infusion 🧉) while chatting with friends about whatever crosses our minds.Me as a Teacher
I'm friendly, and I love listening, so don't hesitate to tell me about your needs! I'll do my best to adapt to you so that you can have a pleasant learning experience. 🙌
I believe the best learning happens when we develop a human connection, when we can relax, laugh and feel free to make mistakes. Together, we'll discuss the best way to correct these errors, so you can make the most of them.
To keep in mind: I don't do test preparation and I don't teach kids.My lessons & teaching style
* Each session will be customized to your level, preferences and needs.
* We'll use Google Docs to take notes, have all the vocabulary in one place, make corrections and more. It'll be available to you at all times.
* Whenever possible, I use material taken from real life: ads, street signs, news headlines, movie trailers. It will show you how real people communicate every day.
* Would you like to do extra activities? I'll send you some. They are a great way to help you remember what you've learned.
* And last, but not least: Do you want to speak like an Argentine? 😉 I can prepare a session to cover typical Argentine vocabulary, pronunciation, slang and even body language!My teaching material

Eliana is a very encouraging teacher who makes classes enjoyable! Her career as a translator also allows her to see the language from a technical angle and help you to improve your vocabulary and grammar significantly. I highly recommend booking a class with her!

Eliana is deeply perceptive of my pronunciation errors. But she corrects errors in the most friendly way. The best mix for lesson learning. My pronunciation lessons with her have not only helped me get to grips with the language a bit, but I'm learning way more culture than I thought I would.

She's wonderful, I hope to have a million more classes with Eliana! The way she teaches is very structured and digestible, whilst also making everything fun and interesting and she ensures you understand each concept before moving on to the next. book her classes but leave some for me!

I am really enjoying my classes with Eliana, she provides good structure and guides the discussion on the chosen topic. The time goes by really fast, she encourages me to speak and gives me time to figure out how to say stuff.
