I have been teaching Chinese and Japanese for almost five years. I will do my best to help you with your Chinese or Japanese. I started my career as a teacher since 2014. I specialize in teaching adults.

From 2004 to 2007, I was send by the ministry of education to Mauritius to teach Chinese there in the public schools. During the 3 years, I have accumulated many teaching methods.

Thus, it sounds very different from tone languages such as Mandarin Chinese or Cantonese. In tone languages, pitch (the degree of highness or lowness of a tone) is used to distinguish word meaning. So a word said with high pitch may have a different meaning than the same word said with a low pitch. ☆ In English, much information is carried by the use of auxiliaries and by verb inflections: is/are/were, eat/eats/ate/eaten, etc. Chinese, on the other hand, is an uninflected language and conveys meaning through word order, adverbials or shared understanding of the context.
