I already had teaching experience from my previous jobs (when I was a laboratory technician assisting high school and university students). In my opinion, sharing knowledge is very important and valuable, especially when it’s a foreign language. Language opens doors to a country's culture and social codes. This is especially true with French, as there are many French-speaking countries around the world, each with its own approach and culture. My methodology is simple: to learn a language you need to practice it as much as possible. My lessons will not focus mainly on grammar, the points learnt will be practised through conversation but also the discovery of different media (for example videos in French outside mainland France), reading, role-play and pronunciation exercises. Each lesson will have a clear objective, and will include different activities. At the beginning of each lesson the student will have time for repetition before moving on to the new subject. I will give possibilities to develop outside the lesson, giving homework, and exercises to practice alone. I will not only teach but as well coach the student to make sure there is consistency in the learning.
