I come from a country, Switzerland, where there are three national languages and where confrontation with other languages than one's own is something that is integrated in one's daily life and in the culture in general. I lived in Berlin for a while and gave several german and french lessons during my studies in Paris. I am very patient, very calm, and I will encourage you to speak. I find that this is the best way to realize that you can master a language by correcting your mistakes. Understanding and integrating a language by practicing it is a very attainable goal and I hope that we can help you progress by having fun and learning together!

Originally, I started teaching French as a private tutor while I was studying in Spain, and it became a passion! I decided to certify in it and got my Master’s degree in French as a foreign language, in 2015. I taught private lessons in Spain, to future expat workers as well as college students. Then, I came back in France for a few years and taught in different kinds of structures such as a French cultural center for international students or a refugee aid association. Since 2020, consequently to the covid situation, I started teaching online. I taught for one year in Alliance française de Loja, in Ecuador (to adults and teenagers, A1 to B2), and then mainly on Italki.

Most of my students are looking to improve their conversational skills, or they are preparing to take a language proficiency test for employment. My teaching methodology allow my students to achieve their desire goal. I am confident that I can help you improve your reading, writing, and conversational skills in English, French, or Haitian creole. I hope to meet you soon.
