Josie is amazing! I really wanted to improve my conversational skills, and I chose her because she seemed dynamic and fun in her video. I’m now more than 20 lessons in and I can definitely confirm that she is not only engaging and easy to talk to, but also incredibly diligent, energetic, smart, thoughtful and hilarious. I expected that we would simply chat in French for an hour each week, and we definitely do that, which has improved my speaking ability immensely. But Josie also goes out of her way to make her lessons as comprehensive and personalized as possible. I moved to France a year and a half ago, and she has been very thoughtful about structuring lessons that will help me to navigate daily life in France and give me exposure to important cultural references. She also tries to make my French less formal and textbook, and more colloquial and natural, which I appreciate immensely. In short, she’s pretty much the idea French teacher!

During the lessons, I discussed a lot of TCF speaking topics with Rim, for example, environmental issues and health topics. I learned how to organize my speech and how to speak more fluently in French. Also, Rim encouraged me to think of different angles for each topic. She definitely helped me a lot in preparing for the exam.

I really enjoyed this lesson. Molka was patient and clear, explaining grammar points in simple, practical ways instead of just going over textbook rules. She encouraged me to speak up and gently corrected my mistakes, which helped build my confidence. The class pace suited me perfectly, and the materials were well-prepared. I felt I made visible progress in this session. I highly recommend this teacher. Looking forward to our next lesson!

Brian is perfect for anyone who wants to practise actually speaking French, rather than having someone speak mostly English and never really learning the language. He is patient and understanding, and even when I feel like giving up, he explains things again in slower French. That has been perfect for me as someone who has tried to learn French before but felt like I wasn’t progressing. His lessons push you to speak French, which has been really helpful for my development. If you want to actually learn to speak and have real conversations in French—not just memorise vocabulary that may not feel practical—I would definitely recommend him.

Gaëlle is an absolutely wonderful teacher! My 8-year-old daughter Margaret has only recently started learning French, and she already looks forward to every lesson. Gaëlle has a fantastic way of connecting with children. She is energetic, creative, patient, and makes learning feel like fun rather than schoolwork. They sing, laugh, play, and learn together, and Margaret genuinely enjoys every minute. As a parent, I couldn’t be happier. Finding a teacher who can inspire a child to love a new language is something special. We feel incredibly lucky to have found Gaëlle, and I wholeheartedly recommend her to any family looking for a wonderful French teacher!

Benjamin helped me so much in improving my French abilities. I remember I could barely speak in French but after 8 months, I was able to achieve B2 in TCF on first try. His advice on the exams really helped. Highly recommend!!
