Notice: I am not taking classes with kids at the moment. I have had the background of tutoring people the language here and there for several years now. I believe the passion that I have towards teaching and tutoring has driven me more and more to become a mentor, communicator, and language coach. I specialize in everyday conversational language to situational languages, such as those you need for interviewing for a job or school (university).

German teacher and influencer with over 6 years of teaching experience After trying out a great deal of methods and approaches as far as language learning, I started teaching on italki 5 years ago to pass on what I've learned through a lot of experimenting and language immersion. I have now lived in many different countries and each time immersed myself in the language and while this is a good approach, it is not enough on its own and its not a possibility for everyone. However, speaking to native people using video calls is possible for anyone. That's why I am happy to teach my native language on italki and pass on my knowledge.

I see value in a lot of different methods of language learning. However, the best method is useless if you lose motivation halfway, and even with a less efficient method you can be successful in learning a language if you have fun doing it. That is why I am convinced that maintaining passion and motivation should be on top of our priority list.

Fluent in English too, I chose to specialize in my native language due to the importance of correct pronunciation. A non-native teacher may unintentionally pass on pronunciation vices to their students. In my lessons, I use videos with topics that the students prefer, because I think that we learn best when we deal with topics that we love to talk about.
