Speak German Naturally – With Guidance, Structure, and Joy I began teaching German professionally in 2017. In a refugee education project, I worked with mixed-level groups — from literacy classes all the way to B2. My focus was always on communication and pronunciation, helping learners use the language confidently from the very beginning. To bring German to life, I organized trips and excursions connected to our lesson topics, giving students the chance to apply what they learned in real situations. For me, this is the most powerful motivation in language learning: experiencing that you can use the language in everyday life!

My work as a teacher includes teaching groups, kids and private students and preparing them for exams from beginners to B2. Some of my students want to improve their skills in order to study in Germany or a German-speaking country. Others need to improve their language skills because of their work in a corporate environment. My classes focus on language skills, such as fluency for professional and private settings, preparing for job interviews or presentations, and dealing with all kind of real-life situations the students may face.

While we talk, I make extensive notes in a google document, I write down new vocabulary with example sentences, grammar instructions, corrections, etc. You'll have access to this document during and after the classes.

I pay strong attention to teaching only useful words and sentence fragments that you can use in order to start speaking immediately. Only a minimum of grammar, we focus on speaking and using materials that you enjoy so that we can keep your motivation high! As a language learner myself, I understand the many frustrations that come with learning a new language. I'll show you how to make the process easy and enjoyable so that you won't even notice that we are having a class :)
