My goal, when I start learning any language is to get to a conversational level as soon as possible so that learning can become automatic (through talking with native speakers, watching authentic videos, and learning from authentic materials). I don't use only one book and or one internet resource, I use different books to give a comprehensive understanding of Chinese language Speaking, listening, reading and writing are essential while learning Chinese.
