I am a native Italian teacher with an MA in Translation + a Postgraduate Diploma in Education. I taught languages at university, in secondary schools, in language schools & online. I also work as an interpreter & translator EN/IT/ES.

Certified CEDILS teacher (evaluation 89/100) now working as a university lecturer ITA/ENG/RU/PL As a teacher, I love to adopt the communicative approach with my students and to stick to all has been studied and published by the most important scholars that covered topics as the second language acquisition theories. I see language learning as a very academic and scientific matter and, as I am a lifelong language learner myself, I know what kind of difficultries you might encounter during your path, but I am ready to step in and sort it out the funniest and the most interesting way ever. That being said, please expect from my side a deep understanding and empathy in each phase of your learning process. On top of that, I am a chill person and I enjoy to have casual conversations a lot.

Ho lavorato come insegnante di italiano dal 2014 fino al 2016 presso un'accademia di lingue straniere in Venezuela. Dal 2020 lavoro come insegnante di lingua italiana/spagnola (prevalentemente online). Utilizzo una varietà di materiali online interessanti (video di YouTube, articoli online, canali educativi). Per ogni lezione preparo i miei materiali salvati in file PDF e in file documenti google.

Teaching is one of my true lifelong passions. After graduating with honors in English and Spanish Language and Literature at the University of Bologna and receiving a CELTA pass A, I have taught for fifteen years to all levels and age groups. I have experienced the public and private school systems in Italy and Mexico, where I taught both language and literature. I am an enthusiastic person and as a teacher I would describe myself as competent, energetic and fun (at least so they say!). I am also very patient and I try to find the right approach for every student, so they can make the most of our classes and feel satisfied with their progress.

As I said before, I know how hard its to learn a new language, especially all by yourself. I know from experience that having conversations is the easier way to learn a new language. But we can also use some books and worksheets. We'll have a very relaxed environment. Come ho già detto precedentemente, so quant'è difficile imparare una nuova lingua, specialmente da soli. So per esperienza che avere conversazioni è il modo più semplice per imparare una lingua. Ma possiamo usare anche libri e schede per rendere la lezione più semplice.

I have started teaching Italian when I was in China and I had to learn to teach to students whose mother tongue was completely different from mine, both in the grammar structure and the pronunciation. Despite these difficulties I found out I really enjoyed teaching Italian and my students surprised me with their progression!
