I then taught in private schools (children/teens) and gave one-on-one adult lessons. Living and working in diverse countries like Colombia and Peru profoundly enriched my teaching, offering deeper cultural insights and boosting my ability to connect and tailor lessons with empathy. Now back in Italy, I bring this broadened perspective and renewed enthusiasm from my international experience to every class. Teaching and communication are my true passions, stronger than ever!

Sono un'insegnante dinamica, molto precisa ma non giudicante. Mi interesso molto di grammatica, di pronuncia e di pratica dell'italiano parlato. Tuttavia sono aperta a qualsiasi tipo di sperimentazione didattica.

Ho conseguito la laurea magistrale in lingua e cultura italiane per stranieri presso l' università di Bologna. Ho un master di secondo livello in "Teoria, progettazione e didattica dell'italiano come lingua seconda e straniera" conseguito presso l'università di Palermo. Ho esperienze di insegnamento della lingua italiana, francese e inglese sia in ambito privato che pubblico. Mi piace spiegare, trovare modi diversi per trasmettere regole e contenuti linguistici e credo soprattutto che l'insegnamento sia un processo cooperativo che avviene tra insegnante e studenti.

Mi piace parlare della vita di ogni giorno; è un ottimo spunto per agganciarsi ad altri argomenti. Credo che destreggiarsi nella conversazione sia lo scopo di quasi tutti quelli che desiderano imparare una lingua straniera. Leggere ad alta voce aiuta molto a migliorare la pronuncia e a me piace molto ascoltare.

Teacher of Italian as a second language, especially to beginner and intermediate students I specialise in teaching grammar and conversation to adult beginner students. I am a very extroverted and sociable person and I like spending time around people, therefore I love spending time with my students, helping them learning my language. - Sono specializzata nell’insegnare grammatica e conversazione a studenti adulti principianti. Sono una persona molto estroversa e socievole e mi piace stare con le persone, quindi amo passare il tempo coi miei studenti, aiutandoli a imparare la mia lingua.

I feel like I'm more of a friendly face correcting your errors and pushing you to practice and talk. I think a lot can be done alone with books but what makes talking to a native special is that one goes beyond the (often boring) book and is able to interact and have an exchange with the person. I studied languages in school and for a year in university. I know Italian grammar well and I love grammar in general. I translated for years and got to realise how hard it can be to use the language but also how beautiful Italian is. I do not teach children or complete beginners. I don't have the expertise and don't want to ruin the experience for them!

Mi è sempre piaciuto trasmettere le conoscenze linguistiche in modo comprensibile, arricchendole con esempi e connessioni o con brevi incursioni anche su altri argomenti purché siano funzionali alla nozione. Lascio parlare l'interlocutore cercando di non interromperlo e aiutandolo solo quando necessario, raccogliendo annotazioni sulle eventuali correzioni da comunicare con calma alla fine della conversazione o della frase.

Tutor Madrelingua Italiana Non ho reali esperienze di insegnamento, durante gli studi facevo volontariato in varie associazioni di aiuto per i migranti e lì davo "lezioni" di italiano; il mio compito era quello di fare appunto conversazione in modo da proiettarli il più velocemente possibile nella mia lingua madre. Inoltre, facevo ripetizioni ai bambini/adolescenti.
