I feel like I'm more of a friendly face correcting your errors and pushing you to practice and talk. I think a lot can be done alone with books but what makes talking to a native special is that one goes beyond the (often boring) book and is able to interact and have an exchange with the person. I studied languages in school and for a year in university. I know Italian grammar well and I love grammar in general. I translated for years and got to realise how hard it can be to use the language but also how beautiful Italian is. I do not teach children or complete beginners. I don't have the expertise and don't want to ruin the experience for them!

I have started teaching Italian when I was in China and I had to learn to teach to students whose mother tongue was completely different from mine, both in the grammar structure and the pronunciation. Despite these difficulties I found out I really enjoyed teaching Italian and my students surprised me with their progression!

La lingua parlata è la base dell'apprendimento, ed è sempre il punto centrale dell'insegnamento. Mi piace utilizzare mezzi d'insegnamento diversi. 初心者はちょーウェルカム！！ I use my own materials for the grammar lesson, it's colorful and fun, and it has grammar explanation in japanese or english. Even if you're somebody who doesn't like grammar, trust me, it will be a piece of cake! We will go through all the basics and make a lot of practice (my materials have plenty of exercises we can do together in class and I will also give you homework). My lessons will focus on the four major language skills: listening, talking, vocabulary and grammar, all incorporated since the very beginning (yes, also A1 level students!!).
