I hold a CEDILS certificate to teach Italian to foreigners, a Ph.D in Asian Studies and I have over 10 years of teaching experience both in person and online. I have specialised in teaching to Chinese speakers who wish to study in Italy, to European professionals who work for Italian companies, and to retirees passionate about culture and travels. I have a solid knowledge of teaching methodologies that I developed through my experience as a lecturer in China and in the UK. I learnt how to design new courses according to students’ feedback while making sure that they are clear and comprehensive.

Italian native speaker and linguist, teaching on Italki since 2018 I am here to teach you and to support you. So I will not judge you of course! I want my students to feel at ease and enjoy the lesson, be it very chill or intense. I teach in English, but I also teach in Italian if your level allows you to follow. I can also speak some Korean, but since I am not so good at this, I prefer using English. I can still use Korean if that helps though!

This is YOUR class, I want you to enjoy it. Learning Italian, of course! During my experience teaching on Italki, I have learned how to assist my students best by getting to know their needs and helping them reach their goals. I am very supportive as a teacher, and I try my best to keep the lesson going smoothly and in a pleasant atmosphere. I am also open to helping my students outside the class. Many of my students send me texts to correct during the week to improve their writing skills, and I am happy to help them.

Living in different countries, I face the everyday exciting challenge of speaking different idioms I use to be a teacher in photography, a teaching experience that helped me developing a personal attitude in let students, and people at large, feeling comfortable at talking with me. This is my main skill in teaching, approaching any lesson, at any level, more like a friendly conversation than an examination! We’ll work together, according to any students goals, without any stress or pressure.

I have been teaching on Italki since 2021. During the study period, I had many pedagogical possibilities to witness the importance of preparing a good lesson and always having a back-up plan. In generale, sono una persona molto precisa e mi impegno molto in ciò che faccio, insegnamento compreso. Mi piace scegliere accuratamente i materiali di studio: la mia priorità è rendere la lezione interessante, ricca, ma anche piacevole, in modo da rendere l'apprendimento il più appassionante possibile. L'atmosfera con me è distesa, informale, ma concentrata e precisa; sono molto paziente, quindi non ti preoccupare se farai qualche errore: solo gli errori ci permettono di migliorare!
