My aim is to make this process as pleasant and fun as possible. I deal with many students around the world by giving language lessons, both in person, at the Italian language school Accademia Leonardo in Salerno, and via Skype. My passion for languages and my studies brought me to understand that languages are not just simple codes ruled by grammatical norms, but that they are actually used to express ourselves as individuals with different backgrounds and cultures.

I think a lot can be done alone with books but what makes talking to a native special is that one goes beyond the (often boring) book and is able to interact and have an exchange with the person. I studied languages in school and for a year in university. I know Italian grammar well and I love grammar in general. I translated for years and got to realise how hard it can be to use the language but also how beautiful Italian is. I do not teach children or complete beginners. I don't have the expertise and don't want to ruin the experience for them!

I have a Master's Degree in teaching Italian as a foreign language, a Degree in Foreign Languages and I obtained the CELTA and the TEFL for teaching English as a second language. I also attended some courses offered by Cambridge. I have experience in teaching all levels, one to one and groups up to 16 people. I have worked in private schools and also in associations and currently I am a French and English teacher in an International School here in Germany.
