After earning a degree in Communication Sciences and a master's degree in Social Sciences, I worked for a few years in a research center in Milan. I started teaching Italian in South America, where I lived for more than 10 years. We came back to Italy in 2022, and although my home is near Bergamo, I spend most of the year in Sicily. I have more than 10 years of teaching experience, especially with American English speakers. I love teaching students of all levels, but my focus is on those who already have an intermediate or advanced level and want to improve their vocabulary, pronunciation, or fluency. My degree in Communication and my master's in Sociology gave me the skills to help you not only learn the language but also communicate effectively about a wide variety of topics. I don't think there's a one-size-fits-all method. I'm ready to listen to the students' needs and adapt to their goals. I love following a book, but I also design personalized lessons using appropriate materials. With more advanced students, I also read novels.
