Let's practice speaking in Japanese with me! I'm a community tutor, so let's relax and have fun! I used to be a Japanese language/cultural supporter for exchange students coming to Japan. Therefore, I understand the difficulty of learning Japanese and adopting new culture. I would like you to enjoy learning Japanese and become familiar with the Japanese culture as well!

I've taught theatre and performing arts at the Japanese Culture Foundation in Sendai for over 12 years. My experience in supporting professionals and non-professionals helps me to teach Japanese to non-native speakers. I understand people want to communicate to explain themselves and to share feeling and ideas. I met people from various countries, and I know that each country has a different way of communicating with others. That’s why I would like to help you to understand Japanese not only as a language, but also a culture and a social context in a deep relationship with the language. I believe my skills and experiences will be useful to you.

Since 2010 I've empowered great learners through language learning - no matter the level! As a teacher, I plan my lessons based on my experience as an educator and academic researcher. I'm always working to reshape and innovate my teaching methods according to the latest scientific research in language learning and teaching. I collaborate closely with my students, giving them constructive feedback and identifying areas for improvement. This helps them develop strong communication skills and succeed in their exams.

Won't you join me in enjoying the beautiful world of Japanese together? 大学（だいがく）では日本語教育（にほんごきょういく）を専攻（せんこう）し、約（やく）１０年間（ねんかん）日本語（にほんご）を教えて（おしえて）いました。 I majored in Teaching Japanese as a second language at university and I have 10 year- teaching experience. 日本語学校（にほんごがっこう）だけではなく、企業（きぎょう）のインテンシブコースを担当（たんとう）したり、プライベートレッスンでカフェや生徒（せいと）さんのうちや会社（かいしゃ）で教えて（おしえて）いました。I taught Japanese not only at a language school but also at a company for an intensive Japanese course ,and was also teaching for private lessons at cafes and students' homes or offices.

What you have to do is just hearing Japanese language a lot, like podcasts, movies, animes, music,YouTube videos etc... and speak it . I believe that helps you to pick up words and sentence structures naturally. And you can also pick up native terms from it as well. That will help you speaking Japanese a lot. Believe it or not, just try it;-) 私は海外の友人に、日本語の話ことばを教えています。 私は、自分が外国語を学んだ経験から、会話を上達させるにはとにかく、できるだけたくさん話すことが必要だと信じています。ですので、皆さんが会話を上達させるための話し相手になり、上手に話せるようになるためのお手伝いをさせていただきます！

I specialize in conversation practice! I also provide Youtube videos of Japanese conversation. Outside of lesson time, I'll introduce you to videos and materials for self-study. A lot of self-study is necessary for beginners who have just started to be able to speak quickly. I'll encourage you and help you while you study on your own! Let's make the lesson time a time to use what you've memorized! If there's something you don't understand, I'll explain it to you. Above all, what I value most in lessons is enjoying conversation. When you speak in your native language, do you make more jokes? Even though it's a lesson, let's talk casually in Japanese just like when you speak in your native language. Casual conversation is also welcome, not just the polite "desu, masu" style!
