Certified CELTA teacher with over 10 years of teaching experience. I graduated from university in Chile, where I studied to become a teacher of English. While still a student I won a scholarship to live in England and work as a Spanish tutor in a language school, so that experience really helped me become more fluent and relaxed about my use of English. I discovered that the most important thing when learning a language isn't to speak perfectly or with a specific accent, but to actually be able to communicate with other people and be understood, that's when learning really becomes motivating. In 2017 I took the CELTA course which gave me a different perspective on how to teach using ONLY English, something I thought almost impossible.
