Yesterday my colleague asked me to move in again. However, after learning that I was living in a barber shop and the barber didn't ask me to pay during the summer holidays (because he said he couldn't find another tenant like me), she finally gave up. I still remember that a musician played and sang Jiang Kui's "An Xiang" for me. It was the first time I had heard that song played on the guitar. Australia is well known for its summer. When summer starts, temperature rises high and it becomes very difficult for people to walk and work under the sky during the day time. In order to face this extreme heat most of the people start avoiding outdoor activities such as outdoor sports, etc.. People who work outdoor usually apply sunblocks, wearing hats and covering their body with cloths as much as possible.

It was a sunny day today. On my way home, I was drawn to this delicious smell of fried chicken wafting from a newly opened local burger joint near my home. I couldn’t help getting the whiff and slowed down my pace. The restaurant's ventilation system was directing the aroma right onto the street. If it weren't for Mom's cooking, I would very much like to eat there every day. I might even pick up some wings after my gym workout. It's open late, and just at the halfway between my home and the gym, which is very convenient.

There is an interesting phenomenon that travellers usually put the local museums on their must-to visit list. The purpose of visiting museums for different are different,but something in common. We are curious about the cultural relics which had changed the civilization long time ago. I once visited the biggest museum in Xi'an. When I saw some pieces of coloured glaze brought from ancient Persia 1500 years ago, I imagined whether people who living in that period using glasses to make tea. When I saw some knife-shaped rock was uesd to cut meat thousands years ago, I could feel the decision from ancient people for changing the wrold. Though comparing to the internet, that "rock" looks very simply, in that period,it definitely pushed the civilization to get to a high level which just like what the internet did in the past 30 years. So, different periods have their own greatest inventions. The rock, the glass...... the interest, what's the next great invention? Will we live on other planets the nextfew decades? Let's create and witness!

We have different household solutions: baking soda, bleach, Ammonia, vinegar, Borax, dish soap, Juice, milk of magnesia, milk. Are these fine? Or do you prefer the exact solutions on the list? Then we don't have lemon juice (we have apple juice), toothpaste and fizzy drink. bought them himself. But I can also buy them with the petty cash for you.

That’s a good question, especially since right now I feel like I’ve hit a bit of a slump in learning English. Answering this question might help me regain my passion. I’m eager to study abroad, especially in the U.S., because many prominent researchers are there, and I would love to join their projects. Still, I sometimes wonder if my English skills will ever truly improve. It feels like, no matter how much I study, I lack confidence. Just yesterday, I attended an academic conference, but I could only understand about 60% of the presentations. I realize I need to put more effort into learning rather than focusing on my doubts. I have to remember what my dream is and stay committed to it.
