For students who want to improve their general English skills, courses are tailored to your requirements and level, focusing on the four skills, reading, writing, speaking and listening. Also I will try to improve your vocabulary and pronunciation.

General English

Increase your confidence in speaking by increasing your vocabulary. We would have conversations including a variety of common topics. For each topic I would supply you with some vocabulary materials to study before and during the lesson, so that you can practise using the new words in conversation.

English Conversation and Vocabulary Booster

We will focus on the writing and speaking parts of the IELTS exam together. In the lessons we will practice mock tests of the the speaking parts and I will give you IELTS related vocabulary topics to study so you can boost your vocabulary range before your test.  I will require that you produce written homework for each lesson so we can read your essays and go through your mistakes together. I will provide you with resources so that you can self study the listening and reading parts of the exam.

IELTS preparation

Offline proofreading of  your IELTS task 1 and task 2 practice essays. I will return them with corrections, comments and an estimated band score based on the rubrics available on the IELTS website. **TWO TASKS PER HALF HOUR**

IELTS Offline Proofreading (email only)

Interview preparation lessons, for job interviews, university interviews etc. We will go through common interview questions together so you can work on answering the questions confidently and accurately. I will give feedback regarding the grammatical accuracy, vocabulary, pronunciation etc. as well as feedback on the content of your answers and advice on how to approach some of the common questions.

I don't have a specific certificate in teaching IELTS. however I first taught IELTS in 2006, I've taught IELTS in five different institutions, and I've been teaching IELTS on your platform since 2018. I have run group training as well as one-to-one. In the last decade, IELTS lessons account for approximately 65% of all my lessons. I know this particular test inside out. I've also prepared students for TOEFL, the Cambridge tests CAE & CPE, as well as tests for more localised institutions.
