Brevity the soul of wit This is a famous quotation of a well-known Russian writer, A.P. Chekhov. We've been pursuing our language goals, practising day and night, communicating with tutors & native speakers, using AI and never think about a power of simple words and structure. I've prepared a list of famous tragic stories, up to 10 words each. 1. “You've dialled the wrong number,” a familiar voice replied. 2. I met my soul mate. She didn't. 3. - It's our golden wedding. Table for one, please. 4. I brought home roses. The keys didn't fit. 5. It was “Newly-weds” on the broken windscreen. 6. Our bedroom. Two voices. I am knocking. 7. I had jumped down. And then I changed my mind. 8. He's bottle-feeding his wife's killer. 9. A surgeon saves a patient. Patient thanks God. I prefer to be laconic, concise and efficient not only with my own speaking/writing patterns, but with my teaching approaches as well. If you wish to learn only necessary information, practice with the topics you are interested in, feel free to ping me:) 10. No sooner have I found the best tutor, I've got into a waiting-list. (I know, there are 13 words. As you can see, I can count, too!)
