I’ll introduce my favorite character: Hello Kitty. When I was three years old, I became fond of Hello Kitty, and I still love her so much. Hello Kitty is a very famous character who is known all over the world. She was created by the Sanrio company. She’s as tall as five apples and weighs as much as three apples. She has a younger twin sister, Mimmy. Kitty wears a red ribbon in her right ear, while Mimmy wears a yellow ribbon in her left ear. Also, she has a cool boyfriend, Daniel. Do you know Sanrio Puroland? Have you ever been there? It’s located in Tama city in Tokyo. It is an indoor theme park where you can meet Hello Kitty and other world-famous Sanrio Characters, and where everyone from young children to adults can enjoy themselves. You might even get to meet and take pictures with your favorite Sanrio characters. Be sure to get photos of all your memorable moments. The characters you can meet vary, depending on the day. Whenever I go there I always write a letter to Hello Kitty and give it to her. Most characters have a mouth drawn on them, but Hello Kitty does not. Why is there no mouth drawn on her? There are a number of reasons for this. The message is that kindness and thoughtfulness should be shown not only with words but also with attitude. She teaches us the importance of being willing to reach out to people in need. Also, as she has no mouth, we’re free to imagine her expression. When you’re happy, she seems to be smiling. When you’re lonely, she looks sad. You can share the same feelings with her by projecting your own feelings onto her face.
