I don't want to waste my time going out because I want to read after having lunch.
I pack rice balls and leftovers from the previous night’s dinner.
I go shopping to buy a weekday’s worth of food every weekend.
I wasn’t able to afford to cook dinner after work. That’s why I started to cook five days’ worth of dinner.

Some slightly different phrases are needed here Sanae:
I would take time to means you want to spend extra time on something being careful to get it right
IT would take (me) time to means that the activity/action would take longer
a weekday's worth = 1 day's worth
a week's worth = 7 days' worth
