How to say something is very bad in colloquial Arabic? (Egyptian/Syrian)

Is there an expression used when something is very bad in Arabic? I'm trying to translate a video and need an expression that describes a bad situation.

I know there are words like "zift" زفت and فسخ, but any other longer expressions?

Actually Nat, زِفْت will do ;D I can't believe that I'm saying زفت on italki, but it's the best word to describe this in our dialects, so موقف زفت or موقف زي الزفت will work. In my dialect, I would say موقف صعب and it's MSA as well, it sounds more appropriate in formal situations.

If you wanted something to describe a bad situation in MSA, I would have recommended what Wael said. I would like to know the meaning of فسخ? Never heard of it before.

Ok you can say  موقف زى الزفت  or موقف زبالة of course there are other words but they are kind of vulgar and actually those two are borderline.
